1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RoomCast, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including administrators, display operators, and viewers.
2. Service Description
RoomCast is a room display management platform that integrates with calendar systems to show real-time room availability and booking information on connected displays. The service includes a web-based administration interface, display rendering engine, and calendar integration capabilities.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. RoomCast reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service. This includes but is not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data; interfering with the operation of the service; using the service for unlawful purposes; reverse engineering or decompiling the software; or sharing access credentials with unauthorized parties.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of RoomCast, including but not limited to software, design, text, and graphics, are owned by RoomCast and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you input into the service.
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the RoomCast service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoomCast shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will provide a reasonable period to export your data before deletion.
9. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the service shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the governing jurisdiction.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the service interface or email. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
